I'll be in NYC this weekend and would like to play in the tournament on Saturday. I don't have a partner and am posting here to see if anyone has interest in playing with me.
I'm originally from NJ but live and play foosball in Hamburg, Germany. I play in two tournaments a week as well as a league. The Hamburg league has 700 players in 4 divisions and I play in the 2nd highest division. I can play either forward or goalie.
For those with a good memory, perhaps you'll remember me from Fat Cat last year. I was there on a Friday a few weeks before Christmas.

Can't say that I remember you from last Christmas, But welcome back regardless.
Come down on Saturday ... as I can think of somebody that might neeed a partner.
Even if not, I'm sure we can match you up with someone.
And remember, there's also the Draw-Your-Partner to take part in.

Results for 12/13/14 tournament DYP 1st Victor / Kevin 2nd Paul / Jerry 3rd Luis / Dawa 4th Rob / Rich 5/6th Masha / Wil 5/6th Allen / Ellen 7/8th Randy / Keith 7/8th Victor G / Wood Doubles 1st Luis / Rob 2nd Victor G / Jerry 3rd Pat / Dan 4th Paul / Dawa 5/6th Allen / Ellen 5/6th Chris / Kevin 7/8th Wil / Wood 7/8th Luis / Masha 9th Victor / Rich We finished a little late, but unfortunately we started a little late. SantaCon and the protests held traffic up. (Remember to check on local events in NYC before picking a date). Fun day. I think we need to do more of these. Sorry Rich, my fault we didn't do better but Pat / Danny, the Cinderella team, came out of no where to take 3rd. Good playing guys. Also as a reminder to myself, don't let me in goal. I can't block anything. Props to Jerry for making both finals. Changes / Suggestions - I thought the points race turned out well. If anybody has suggestions for changes please let me know because we're starting our next points race Jan 13th. 2015. More info on that later. - $5 entries. - Might have to do away with online sign ups for the points race. Anything else? Thanks to everybody that showed up, I was expecting maybe 1 or 2 more people but other than that it's good to know foosball in NYC is a live and kicking. Thanks for playing Luis and Paul. You guys are good at foosball. I thought it was possible to win both dyp and byp. Jerry destroyed our hope in dyp.
I can't play against people I dont know well. Sorry for letting you down Paul. Pat/danny game was a real wake up loss. I thought i told myself not to assume we will win. That drops my performance by alteast 50 percent.
Overall really good matches against all we played.
