I haven't nailed anything down yet but I'm open to suggestions.
I'm imagining having 2 events. Maybe a DYP and then a BYP. Or we can come up with something different.
Bringing some snacks for the afternoon.
Ordering some food in the evening.
Foosball/Food/Fun.

I think we'll solidify the DYP. But we'll keep the 2nd event open for suggestions.
We got 1 vote for BYP Rollerball. Anybody else? If not then BYP Rollerball it is.
Here are some ideas.
Roto DYP (you score, you switch)
Reverse Roto DYP (if they score on you, you switch)

Roller ball was just a thought, I've never tried it, lol.
Victor mentioned a quarky DYP idea where each team gets a random rule imposed upon them each round from like 10 possibilities. Sounded fun to me, I change my vote to that.

My vote is for a sort of beer pong version of foosball. Every time you score, your opponents have to drink some beer. But if not that, then anything but rollerball.

OK, we're going closer.
We'll start with a standard straight up DYP with extra money added.
Then we'll have a mystery BYP event. With special handicap points and formats. I'm hoping to make it fun. We need to come up with a list of different formats.
These are not set in stone and subject to change. Basically each team will draw a card from 1-5 to see what format they are playing.
1. Designated (The opposing team chooses who plays front/back for the first game. 2nd game they have to switch. 3rd game they have to switch back. No switching during games.)
2. Roto (standard, every time you score you switch)
3. Reverse Roto (every time the opponents score you switch)
4. Cross handed (you must play then entire match cross handed)
5. ?
Or you can volunteer for this one...
A. Beer Fong (every time you score your team drinks)
I'll be handing out special chips or something as handicap points for newer players. They will have different things written on the chips. For example one chip may say you get 2 free points per game or you chose your format or you chose your opponents format.
$5 entry person per event.
100% + payback for every event.
Sign ups for DYP at 1:45pm.
Sign ups for Mystery BYP at 4:00pm.
Tell your friends. If you don't have a partner come anyway and we'll find you one.
