This is not a point race tournament. But this is the last Tuesday tournament before Maryland States, which is going to be epic for NYC.
In training for the Maryland we're going to have a Bring Your Partner, so get your partner lined up. If you don't have a partner ask someone, you have plenty of time. If you still don't have a partner show anyway and we'll figure something out.
I also decided to handicap the BYP to keep things competitive. Teams play at the level of the highest ranking player. For example, if a beginner plays with an expert, you are ranked as an expert team.
The following are the game scores for each rank when playing teams of different levels.
Bg - 4
Rk - 5
Am - 6
Ex - 7
Pr - 8
For example a beginner team vs an expert team... the beginners need to score 4 to win, while the expert team needs to score 7 to win.
Teams playing against the same rank will play normal, both to 5.
We're still playing best of 3 games. No overtime.

The points race is over. We'll do our one last warm up before heading off to Maryland. Remember it's a bring your partner. You've now been warned. Remind anybody/everybody it's a bring.
If you don't have a partner ask around. If you still can't find a partner come anyway and we'll find you one.

Sorry I don't have the sheet. But we had a lot of teams. 13 or 14 teams.
The handicap was fun. It was challenging for me/us since Dawa and I were way behind right from the start. Good training, I'm excited for Maryland.
