I wanted to post this while it's fresh in my head, but it won't start for awhile. Since I thought we all really enjoyed the last points race we had for Syracuse, we're doing another points race for the MD tournament. I'll make this a brief summary while I work out the details for points.
We'll be doing a 4 week points race where attendance and finishes are tallied at the DYP at Fat Cat's (I haven't figured out the points yet.) Starting Tuesday January 7, 2014 and ending Tuesday February 4, 2014.
After the 4 weeks, the top 4 will enter a random lottery for the prize.
The prize... 1 package to the 2014 MD State tournament (anyone can enter, but prize can only be redeemed at MD State tournament.). The value ranges from $150 - $200 depending on your ranking.
Rules
- To be eligible for the points race you need to post in this thread to acknowledge you're possibly interested in going to MD State!!! This is IMPORTANT!! Just post "I might be going." If you don't post here, I will NOT tally your points. If you post late I will start tallying your points AFTER you post in this thread. Let me know if this is not clear or you have any questions. Tell everybody.
- The winner of the prize must let me know by Tuesday February 11, 2014 if they plan on attending or else it'll be forfeited back to the lottery. If you have no intentions on going just let me know.
- In the case of the winner of the package not attending MD States, we will have another lottery of the next 4 people with the next highest points who are planning to attend. Repeat if necessary. Only 1 package is available, so I'll do my best to make it fair.
- I reserve the right to adjust the teams, during the span of the points race, as I see fit. I may or may not do this.
- The rules may change as I go. If you can think of any ideas, let me know, I'm open to suggestions.

Yes I'm planning on going. The baby is good. I don't think she is ready for foosball yet so I'll probably be by myself.
Chris I got two missed calls from you, one at 3:45am and 7:00am Monday morning after NY states LOL. All you said was "boooo- urns" ha!

 2 points for entering the tournament. You'll only be ranked a beginner if you've never been to a state tournament or larger. Otherwise you're a rookie, unless you already have a ranking.
